Simms, Berga & Prevatil turn in top Eagle performances in talent-packed Trinity League Finals
5 new Track Records are set during the Finals: 800m, 3200m, 4x100m, 4x400m and High Jump
Meet Highlights:
Varsity:
- Donnovan Simms 1st place and League Champion in Long Jump & Triple Jump
- Gus Berga 1st Place and League Champ in the 400m, 5th in League in the 200m
- Brent Prevatil PR's in 3 of 4 events, (2nd place in 300ih, 3rd place in 110hh) and qualifies for CIF in both hurdle events
- Jon Telles qualifies for CIF by taking 4th in a star-studded 800m
- Danny Whisnant is the top Eagle miler finishing 6th in League with a 4:39 PR
JV:
- Daniel Glenn takes 2nd place in the 400m with a new PR
- 4x400m relay team of Abowd, Adame, Hull & Glenn take 2nd
- John Abowd takes 3rd in the 400m with a new PR
- 4x100m relay team of Hull, Glenn, Mysoor & Abowd take 3rd place
- Ryan Woods is the top Eagle JV miler finishing 4th
- Patrick Hull takes 4th in the 800m
Frosh/Soph:
- Patrick Stege takes 6th in League in the 400m

9 Eagles post 12 new PR's in Prelims
5 runners win their heats to automatically qualify for Finals, 11 others qualify for Finals on Place & Mark

- Gus Berga wins both his 200m and 400m races with PR's
- R.J. Parpana wins his 100m heat with a PR
- Brent Prevatil PR's to win the 300m Intermediate Hurdles, also qualifies for the 100mhh
- Jimmy Martin wins 110 high hurdles
- Daniel Glenn wins JV 400m with a PR
- Phelps, Whisnant (PR), Dufficy (PR),Telles, Holcomb and McInerney qualify to advance to Varsity League Finals
- Abowd, Woods (800m & 1600m w/ PR),Hull & Adame qualify for JV Finals
- Connor Prior (PR's in 1600m and 800m), Stege & Giemont advance in the Frosh/Soph division

SM boys capture 1st Place in 12 Varsity events. It was "A Great Day to be an Eagle"

- Dufficy, Parpana & Slater each win their individual events
- Aguero, Berga, Martin & Parpana win a thrilling 4x100 relay
- Aguero, Berga, Stege, Whisnant & Woods record "PR's" in two events
- Dufficy, Holcomb, Keusder, Parpana, Phelps, Prevatil & Prior each record a single event "PR"

5 Eagles Compete in the Heat with the Elite!
Arcadia Invitational produces 16 Nation-Leading marks and 31 new State Leaders.
Meet Highlights:
SMCHS Relay Teams compete in events 12 hours apart. The Eagle's best effort was the 4x400 held late Saturday night. Gus Berga ran a speedy 48.7 lap eclipsed only by anchor man Jimmy Martin with a blistering 47.9! Their 3:20.06 just misses the CA Top 10.

Meet Highlights:
- R.J. Parpana wins both the 100m and the High Jump with PR's as well as anchoring the 4x100 relay team in a season-best performance!
- Stephen Phelps wins both the 1600m and 3200m distance contests
